Security Officer – Luxury Retail (NYC)

We’re seeking a professional Security Officer to support the safety of customers, employees, and merchandise in a luxury retail environment. This role focuses on theft prevention, emergency response, and asset protection, while working closely with store leadership and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor store for theft and safety risks using surveillance and reporting tools
• Conduct investigations and collaborate with leadership to resolve incidents
• Respond to emergencies, including medical situations, and support safety protocols
• Assist with audits, loss prevention training, and daily security operations
• Liaise with law enforcement and neighboring stores when needed
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, recoveries, and policy violations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; security certifications a plus
• Prior experience in retail security or hospitality preferred
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and loss prevention
• Calm, professional demeanor in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
